Our Commitment

Allstate Window Tint & Blinds is committed to making this website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a baseline standard.

What We've Done

The following accessibility features have been built into this site:

  • Skip navigation link — a "Skip to main content" link appears at the top of every page for keyboard users
  • Semantic HTML — pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions (main, nav, footer), and list elements
  • Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields) are reachable and operable by keyboard
  • ARIA labels — icon-only buttons and navigation regions include descriptive labels for screen readers
  • Color contrast — text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast requirements against their backgrounds
  • Descriptive alt text — meaningful images include descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked as such
  • Resizable text — the layout responds correctly when text is enlarged up to 200%
  • Reduced motion — animations are disabled for users who have enabled "reduce motion" in their system settings
  • Form labels — all form fields have visible labels and are associated correctly

Known Limitations

We are a small family business and this site is a work in progress. Areas we are actively working to improve include:

  • Third-party image hosting (imgBB) — we do not control the accessibility of image delivery infrastructure
  • PDF documents — if any are added in the future, we will ensure they are tagged for accessibility

Technical Specifications

This website is built with standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It is tested for compatibility with modern browsers and does not rely on any single assistive technology. We test primarily against:

  • Chrome and Firefox on Windows and macOS
  • Safari on iOS
  • Chrome on Android
